Cowabunga! Nothing much to share except that I have been buying the digs from TMNT Mutant Mayhem. I have always wanted to buy some Turtles but have never really gotten the chance to get the ones that I wanted. These new figs though, they hit that sweet aesthetic spot that I look for in toys. Endeavor photo shoot still in progress... Just taking my sweet time here as I really love this one. Still working on the RX, still adding the details. Love scribing but I hate working with thermal tape so I've started experimenting with masking tape. And finally finished working on this OP sticker! Things have been quite busy lately but its ok... Hopefully I'll have more time next weekend to edit the shots I took of Endeavor and start shooting my other toys.

  Let me get this out of the way first: This figure, at least to me, does not look like Optimus Primal from Rise of the Beast. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice figure. The details are amazing and for a Pop I think that this one is cleanly executed. The pose is great, the details on the head are really nice and that growl on his face looks really menacing.  What makes it not look like Primal is I guess that it doesn't really come across as a gorilla for me. The details on the head are great and for the most part it really does capture the face of Primal's beast mode... but maybe they could have made the head more triangular? Or at least made him do a hunched pose to communicate better that he is indeed a gorilla. To me he mostly looks like an angry man screaming. Still, I like this one very much and he will be displayed for a long time. I did not buy it because of screen accuracy. I just love the details on him and that at least in my Pop collection there is an Optimus Prima...
