So my wife and I stumbled upon a Funko event at a mall near our place while we were buying tables and this is what happened :)  When we got home my wife told me that I'm always very happy whenever I get a Pop and this made me think quite a bit.  Funko Pops are a conundrum to me because they are the exact opposite of what I have been collecting for the past 22 years: Gundam and Transformers. While the bulk of my collection, and even the more recent Revoltech and Amazing Heroes are very detailed and poseable, Funko's are very basic and static. Thing is though, I love collecting them. Even if a lot of my peers in the fandoms that I grew up with hate them with passion. I guess the accessibility is one thing, I mean, you'd most probably be able to get a Pop of your favorite character once Funko gets a license for it. They look good on a shelf even if the quality control is so poor. I can say that I've never gotten a Pop that I'm really satisfied with the pain...

  I've started drawing a new sticker this week, this time its an SD version of G1 Optimus Prime. This will be released on my Shopee store as a waterproof sticker and as various merch on Red Bubble.  Gosh I really wish I could draw faster. Here's Shoto from the Amazing Yamaguchi MHA line. I used him to test my new backdrop. I've been playing with my phone's camera and I figured that it will be good enough for what I want to do with my toy photography. The RXS-078! Its a knock off of the original toy but it's a really fun figure to have around if you're a Gundam fan like me. One of my son's friends asked me to hold onto his Hotwheels while they were playing in the park and this one looked really nice. We often go to the arcade to play with the claw machines after Church and I think this maybe our 4th or 5th stuffed toy. Its one of our small rituals, the kind of stuff I know I'd miss when Ri grows up and moves on to other things. _________ Not a lot of peop...
