1/144 HGUC Delta Gundam Part 1 and Some Thoughts on Rebuke
It's been a long while (again) since I last posted and that's because I've been terribly busy working on some projects, the most important being the launch of our studio, 7do Creatives. Please do visit our site at www.7docreatives.com .
If you've built the Delta Gundam before you will notice that I lost the white parts on the chest. That part got lost while I was cleaning this kit in preparation for painting.
That being said, this kit was really fun to work on. I liked how it's thin and not bulky even though it has a pretty large backpack and while it still is a Gundam it really feels different from the other kits that I have built.
I made a lot of booboos while I was working on this kit, and the funny thing was that this was the one I used for the tutorial. I really think I overdid the weathering on this one, specially the silver dry brushing... I'll keep that in mind for my next build.

I understand the importance of theology, I really do. I believe in doing your best to really understand what the Bible is saying and it is the responsibility of every believer to learn about the Word and to call out the errors in interpretation when we encounter them.
That being said, I feel bad when I see theologians really enjoying themselves when they correct other believers and non-believers because it speaks so much as to where this desire to be right comes from. Should we not be worried, burdened and sad first and foremost when the Bible is misinterpreted? Often, the people who are too eager to find fault in the beliefs of others are way too eager and happy in correcting errors to the point that some of them even resort to name calling and ridicule just to prove their point. I question such behavior, does this reflect how Christians, specially their leaders, should act? Should rebuke not come first and foremost from a sincere desire to share the Gospel properly and out of love? I'm all in for being firm and true but it should always first and foremost come from a position of concern and not of a desire to be right.
When you're too happy, or enjoying yourself when correcting your brother, check your heart my friend. You might just be serving yourself and not who you believe you are trying to serve.
